Orbit MissionControl Orbit Tracking Page Orbit Connect Orbit Cockpit

Overview

The world is diverse, and so are the communication needs of businesses operating in a global marketplace. To meet these needs, Orbit has incorporated multilingual support across all our applications. This ensures seamless, inclusive interactions for all users, regardless of their language in MissionControl, Connect, Hub, and Cockpit.

Key Highlights

Invitation emails for new Operators, Shippers, Carriers, and Drivers will reflect the language preferences set during the invitation process. Furthermore, language settings for users across all roles can be adjusted remotely from within Orbit MissionControl.

Key Concepts and Features

Choosing Your Language: The language setting is designed to be intuitive, allowing every user to select their preferred language with just a few clicks. This setting will apply to the application interface and as a default to all communication emails sent to users within Orbit.

Localised Customisation in MissionControl: In addition to setting your preferred language, Orbit MissionControl offers the capability to localise names for all custom objects such as Properties, Load types or Regions. This feature is especially useful in multi-lingual settings where users collaborating in Orbit may speak different languages.

  1. Localised Naming: Add custom translations by clicking the globe symbol displayed in all translatable fields in MissionControl.E.g. in Settings, under the sections for Properties, Load Types, and Regions.
  2. Automated Translations: By clicking the magic wand symbol inside translation fields, Orbit automatically suggests a suitable translation for the selected target language.

Use Case Example

A new driver is being onboarded from a non-English-speaking country.

  1. An administrator invites a new Driver and sets their language preference to German using Orbit MissionControl.
  2. The Driver receives an invite email in German.
  3. Upon logging into Orbit Cockpit, the Driver finds all interfaces in German.
